Abstract

This paper proposes wide-angle beam-scanning technique of a multi-beam dielectric lens antenna fed by horns with separated phase centers in E/H-planes by different wall heights. The phase centers of the horn antenna in E/H-planes were designed independently by the wall heights to be coincident with two lens focuses caused by astigmatism in the beam-scanning plane and in its orthogonal plane, respectively. Wide-angle beam-scanning and broadband reflection characteristics were confirmed by electromagnetic simulation in this work. © 2023 IEEE.
