Abstract

This paper proposes a circuit structure consisting of an RF diplexer and a dual-band antenna for RF energy harvesting applications. The dual-band antenna was fabricated on microstrip line using a FR4 substrate. The RF diplexer was implemented using lumped components. The proposed circuit aims at designing for operating concurrently at 900-GSM and 2.4 GHz bands. The designed circuit offers superior advantages in term of low-loss and compactness. Measurements agree well with simulations validating accuracy of the designed circuit. The proposed circuit aims to be used in concurrent dual-band RF energy harvesting applications. © 2020 IEEE.
