Abstract

The purpose of this research is to use the released energy of the liquid carbon dioxide for the PET bottle to burst, which can simulate safely and cheaply the combat sound effects. This article deals with the mathematical modelling of the problem, which is the base for the design of this device that would simulate the sound effects of the RPG-7 launching and that can be used for the RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher in combat shooting training. The prototype of this device has been extensively tested and has shown to be suitable for military use. © 2014, University of Defence.
