Abstract

Increasing the strength characteristics and reducing the weight of the structure is the most important problem in the aircraft industry. Though, as the strength of the structural material increases, its plasticity decreases, and the possibility of brittle fracture increases. This fact significantly limits the use of high-strength materials in aircraft construction. One of the options that satisfies the requirements, described above, are glass-fiber reinforced plastics. This work is devoted to the study of the effect of rolled products in aluminium layers of alumina-fiberglass. In particular, a study of the static and dynamic properties along and across the rolled product was carried out. © 2021, Scibulcom Ltd.. All rights reserved.
