Boundary-layer profile of an axisymmetric blunt-base model was studied at low-speed conditions. Both numerical and experimental methods were used and compared. The numerical methods was based on solving Navier-Stocks equations by Reynolds average methods. A single-pixed ensemble correlation algorithm is used for data processing from particle image velocity for numerical methods. The results showed that both methods show high accuracy of wake flow and boundary-layer profile. The characteristics of boundary layer was also presented in this study. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
