Abstract

This paper proposed and analyzed the block error rate of an active reconfigurable intelligent surface (ARIS)-assisted unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications using non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) under the finite block length. The diversity order and low latency of the proposed system are achieved according to the number of RIS elements. Therefore, the proposed model is perfectly suitable for applications that require ultra-reliable low latency communication. In addition, the accuracy of our theoretical analysis is valided by the simulation. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
