Abstract

The current study explores the effect of three basic thermal properties of concrete on the mass concrete temperature field. It investigates the relationship between thermal conductivity, specific heat capacity, and density with the maximum mass concrete temperature. The results revealed that all three thermal properties have a linear relationship with the maximum mass concrete temperature since the latter decreases while these properties increase. © by the authors.
