Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present design a clutch control system that utilizes hydraulic assistance instead of the original mechanical system on track vehicles. The hydraulic clutch control system will provide smoother and more precise clutch engagement, as well as reduced pedal effort for the driver. By utilizing hydraulic assistance, the system will also be more responsive and require less maintenance compared to original mechanical systems. This design will improve the overall driving experience and make the clutch operation more user-friendly. This study will involve analysing the original control system, constructing a system diagram, and identifying the main parameters of the system elements. Additionally, it will include a survey evaluating the differences in workability between the existing system and the proposed hydraulic assist system. © 2024 Kaunas University of Technology.
