In this paper, we study the interaction of a homogeneous barrier in the ground in the form of a segment of a cylindrical shell, under the influence of a plane harmonic cylindrical wave. The main purpose of this work is to determine the movements at the boundary of the barrier and the ground. To solve the problem of the movement of a homogeneous barrier fixed in any way other than hinge fastening, an approach based on the satisfaction of boundary conditions using compensating loads will be used. © 2025 American Institute of Physics Inc..
