Abstract

This article deals with the vibration of automatic weapons mounted on a tripod in the event of a shot. The theoretical part creates a spatial model of the dynamics of a multibody system using the method of Lagrange equations of motion, which takes into account the influence of the terrain and the human body. The model is experimentally verified on the 30 mm AGS-17 grenade launcher. The obtained results are the basis for evaluating the fire stability of an automatic weapon when firing in burst, which allows modernization of existing weapons, its new use by troops, such as further vehicle mounts, Navy and Coast Guard vessels, helicopters, as well as evaluation of similar weapon systems. © 2021 IEEE.
