The article is focused on the calculation of defence structures’ survival probability based on the Monte Carlo method. Besides, the blast resistance of defence structures is optimized due to the protection and expense requirements. The article also reviews properties of defence structures, characteristics of projectiles, and factors influencing on the structure’s survival ability. To solve the problem, the computer simulation program has been developed and used for evaluating and optimizing the issue in various battle scenarios. © 2017, University of Defence.
