The article deals with the development of multi-level electrode system for the hardware and software complex of electrical impedance tomography. An electrode system structure is proposed, the composition of its basic elements is determined. The block of primary converters is developed. The regulatory documentation on the subject of research is studied and analyzed, the types of electrodes that can be used for the development of electrical impedance tomography devices are determined. It is proposed to use a block-modular principle during an electrode belt development, the technical capabilities of its implementation are described. The scheme of interaction between an electrode system and other functional blocks of the device is considered. Electrodes, a patient cable, a rubber belt and adapters are selected. The schematic description of the electrode system is developed according to the electrode belt example. The necessary components are purchased, a layered electrode system is produced. © Research India Publications.
